Description
A Temperature Transmitter is a device that converts the signal produced by a temperature sensor into a standard instrumentation signal representing a process variable temperature being measured and controlled. It is an essential device for accurate temperature measurement and monitoring in industrial processes. The transmitter is connected to a temperature sensor and converts analogue thermal measurements into digital output signals with minimal interference. It interfaces a temperature gauge, such as a thermocouple, RTD, or thermistor, to a measurement or control device, such as a PLC, DCS, PC, loop controller, data logger, display or recorder.
